Happy Fourth of July week everybody, and what a great time of year to be a fisherman. What makes this time of the year so enjoyable is not only are walleyes, panfish, muskies, bass and northerns ALL biting, but the many different presentations and techniques that can be use to catch them. This time of year the walleyes are spread out throughtout the lake, and weather you like to fish shallow weeds, shoreline breaks and weedlines or mid-lake humps, there are fish there waiting to be caught.

Walleye fishing has been very good as of late, and fish are being caught on Big Pine, Little Pine, Rush, Ottertail, Star, and many other area lakes. Majority of fisherman are having luck either lindy rigging or pulling bottom bouncers and spinners on mid-lake humps or shoreline breaks in 17-25 feet.
